LUXlife Magazine recognized the devotion and effort taken by Ravana Garden towards sustainability and named it ‘Most Outstanding Tropical Hotel’ in LUXlife Magazine’s 2019 Global Luxury Hotel & Spa Awards. The hotel does not falter in luxury, but keeps its promise of sustainability first. Ravana Garden aims to tie in the Sri Lankan culture through organic food and community empowerment to deliver a unique and personalized experience for their guests, while providing the utmost luxury; all under the umbrella of sustainability.

Rasika Perera, the founder of Ravana Garden, took note of the rapidly growing tourism industry of Sri Lanka and recognized the negative impact it was having on the environment. To counter this, he poured his passion for the sustainability of the natural environment surrounding him into opening his sustainable luxury boutique hotel. From the way the hotel is built to the staff and even the food, every part of Ravana Garden aims to preserve the nature and culture of Sri Lanka to its fullest.
