CHILD POLICY:

(a) In keeping with the peaceful and tranquil setting that is at the heart of Ravana Garden Boutique Hotel, we ask that Clients exercise careful and serious judgment when seeking to make a booking accompanied by young children. Clients are firmly advised that this is so, as not to disturb the peaceful and tranquil setting at the heart of Ravana Garden and to avoid any manner of disturbance of other guests. Ravana Garden wishes to specially highlight that the peaceful and tranquil setting at Ravana Garden is fundamental to Ravana Garden and any Bookings which may result in disturbing the same may be subject to the Managements consistent warning and advice which may even ultimately result in the request for the customer to leave or authorization for Ravana Garden to arrange alternative accommodation for and on behalf of the client.

(b) In the event of a Guest making a Booking with Children aged between 0 to 8, the Booking will only be allowed if the Guest books the entire Villa. Meals for children below eight will be on complimentary basis.

(c) Children aged between 8 to 12 will be charged at 50% on the adult sharing rate when sharing the room with parents. Maximum of 01 child can be accommodated in an adult Sharing Room. Extra beds will be provided based on availability.

Ravana Garden wishes to bring to the kind attention of the guest that causing a booking in the manner (b) or (c) does not avoid the warning in paragraph (a) and the same paragraph applies at all times.

Booking Conditions:

The allocation of rooms may be changed to a similar or higher category of room in the event of an emergency or unforeseen incident as and when required.

All package offers made by Ravana Garden morefully described in the Website or any other authorized representation of Ravana Garden is applicable for Clients with a minimum of 3 nights stay. Any extension of Package Offers in all or some respects for a client with less than 3 Nights stay will be at the complete discretion of Ravana Garden.

Honeymoon Benefits:

Ravana Garden Boutique Hotel is a designer brand for honeymoon travelers and the guests will receive the following benefits (‘Honeymoon Benefits) per room per stay regardless of the number of nights at the property. Any Client who wishes to obtain the Honeymoon Benefits shall indicate in the Booking Request for Honeymoon Benefits. Ravana Garden will honor a Honeymoon benefit only in the event that the Booking generated by Ravana Garden indicates the request of Honeymoon Benefits.

Clients are requested to bring along with them proof of marriage (Copy of the Marriage Certificate, Pictures of the Wedding) to the satisfaction of Ravana Garden at the time of either check or prior to be entitled to enjoy the Honeymoon Benefits. Clients are advised to note that Honeymoon benefits are only applicable to two persons being the persons on the Honeymoon and not applicable to any other persons checking in with the Honeymoon Couple and are not non assignable or non transferable.

  Benefits for other guests:

  • • Full Board Plus includes breakfast, lunch, dinner, morning tea and evening tea with snacks.
  • • “Madal’ fishing” session at the beach – available only certain days of the year
  • • Laundry services for 2 pieces per person per day, this cannot be accumulated.
  • • Dry cleaning services are available at an additional cost

  Excursions and other activities:

  • • Please note that all excursions needs to be booked prior to guest arrival at Ravana Garden Boutique Hotel. Last minute bookings can be considered as per availability.
  • • Please note that Yala National Park’s Block 01 annual closure for rehabilitation of infrastructure is usually in the period September 01 to October 31. During this time, we will continue to offer game drives to other blocks or neighboring national parks.
  • • Please note that both Karambagala Hermitage and Mudunagala Rock Monastery are places of worship and is occupied by Buddhist monks that practice meditation. Therefore, when entering the premises females will be asked to remove hats/caps/covers. The attire should cover up to the knee length and no sleeveless tops/t-shirts/skinnies will be permitted. In addition, the entry to such sites are prohibited after alcohol consumption.
  • • Clients agree that Ravana Garden will accommodate and assist guests in their excursions and activities on a good faith basis as a complementary service to the Booking. Clients agree to not hold Ravana Garden liable or responsible in any manner with regard to the quality or satisfaction of the excursion or any other aspect of the excursion. Guests agree that they have taken the decision to book and proceed to the excursion on their own independent decisions and not on any persuasion or advice given by Ravana Garden.
